Naturally Holey Beach Stones, Coquinoid Sandstone
Tumbled by the tides and time.
Collected by me along the shores of the Treasure Coast.
These stones are approximately 1/2" - 7/8" wide.
The holes easily accommodates the 6 Am Std gage (1/8") copper wire.
They are gray or tan and mostly smooth.
If you’ve gotten this far, you will notice the last photo includes a bonus
stone. So you will actually receive 11 stones in this bundle. It is a beautiful
hag stone, but it has a delicate hole. My gift to you.  Perhaps you can still use it.

Hag stones have occupied myth and magic folklore for centuries.
But what are Hag Stones?
Hag stones are stones that have a naturally
occurring hole inside them. These stones are often
found along the
coastal points, beaches, and streams. These holes occur from the elements
beating down upon them over many years.  There are also speculations that
these mysterious
stones may have been formed by a “worm hole”. A Hag
stone is also known as a Witch Stone
or Adder Stone or Holey Stone and has
quite a bit of lore and many magical properties associated
with them.  Part of
the folklore is that if you look through the holes you can see fairies.
