Atomic number 75, rhenium is a very dense and hard metal with an extremely high melt temperature. Rhenium is one of the rarest elementals metal and is extracted as a by-product of copper and molybdenum refining.
Buyer will receive 1kg (Approx. 100 pellets) of 99.9% pure rhenium metal.
Note:
These are industrial alloy-grade rhenium pellets, which is what primary rhenium refiners and recyclers produce. They are made from sintered rhenium powder and can be broken apart. The pellets are not arc melted, so the physical properties of an individual pellet will not match a laboratory-produced 'pure' rhenium metal. This does not change the purity of the metal, itself.
