2 LB (3 1/2" ) TN Piney River Tiger Chert Concretion Rock With Natural Holes. This beautiful rock was found at Piney River in Middle Tennessee.  It weighs approx 2 lbs and measures approx 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 1 1/2". It has numerous natural holes. The largest hole is approx 1/×" deep. None of the holes go completely through.  I believe this is a Tiger Chert rock.
The rocks / stones and fossils that I list are completely natural, just as I found them, except for being washed. I use only Dawn dish liquid and water to wash.
I am not an expert so I can not guarantee my identification of the rocks, stones and fossils. Sometimes it is my best guess or what they are commonly called in my area of Tennessee.
