Ancient Natural Rock Chard From Hallusas, Turkey
Carved Figures depicts ancient figures on 2 sides.
Measures approximately 2-1/2 inches tall x 1 inch in diameter
There's holes in the top so it could have been worn as a necklace.
There's definite markings on the top and the bottom so it may have been used to mark writings or money
My late aunt lived and worked in Turkey in the 1970's.  She was also a gemologist and rock hound.
She put a note with this saying it was a gift from Hallusas.  I didn't find Hallusas Turkey
but did find Hattusa.  It was the capital of the Hittite Empire.  The Hittites were
an ancient Anatolian people.  The drawings of persons on the shard look like
they could be Anatolian people.
