Free internet starts immediately after installation of rooftop equipment.  Keep your current provider.
Rooftop antenna uses your internet connection to transmit data to a secure private cloud.  The equipment is completely separated from your network and there is no 'cross-talk'.  Security and your privacy is my highest priority.
Data usage is very minimal (0.5 Mbps).  Between 1% to 3% of your data plan.  For example, if you have a 50 Mbps internet plan, the equipment uses 1% (0.5 / 50 Mbps = 0.01).
Power consumption is about the same as a phone charger.

What is the purpose of rooftop antenna?
To improve the community data infrastructure by providing diversity in options for carriers.  The main users of this network are IoT devices like GPS locators in vehicles/packages/equipment, environmental monitors used in farming for weather data, and asset locating for equipment.
Who would it serve?
It would serve your local community.  Community devices can connect to these antennas (like a beacon) and transmit their data.
In simple terms, how does it work?
In a brief way to describe it… end-user device (gps locator) sends out a signal that is picked up by one of these antennas, data is directly sent out to the internet, a cloud server translates the information, information is conditioned and sent back to the user in the form of data on a phone app, dashboard, text alerts, or email alerts.
Should I be concerned about network security?
No.  Security is very important to me, and the antenna has no way of touching your internal network.  Multiple security measures are put in place like firewalls, VLANs, data separation and isolation.  The antenna only needs a direct connection to the internet and will have no way of reaching your local private network traffic.

Installation:
Sandwave Networks LLC provides equipment and installation costs.  Line-of-sight is important for antenna location.  Rooftops, towers, or other tall accessible structures are preferred.
Internet:
The antennas need to be connected to your internet by ethernet cable.
Security:
No cross-talk to your network.  I provide business grade router & firewall with secure/encrypted routing.
Utilities:
Power consumption is approximately 5-10 watts--about the same as a phone charger
Quality:
Sandwave Networks is fully insured and equipment is commercial grade/business class.
Interference:
There is no known conflict with the frequency of the antenna. It will not interfere with other providers like cellular, data, or wireless internet.
