Description
To complete your collection of Marc Antony's coinage here is a great example of the Fulvia quinarius. Featuring his wife Fulvia, struck in Lugdunum for Marc Antony in 42 BC on a 13mm silver flan weighing 1.4 gm. Obv. Bust of Fulvia ( as Victory) facing right with III VIR behind her. Rev. Lion walking right with ANTONI above. Sear # 1519 for your reference. There is an "A" banker's mark on the nape of Fulvia's neck which detracts somewhat from the portrait but not much from the beauty of the obverse. Purchased on ebay from well-known international dealer "agora-wien" in 2017. In the beautiful condition shown with one of the nicest busts of Fulvia that you are likely to come across. Don't miss this one ! Your satisfaction is guaranteed since if you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason , I will refund the initial shipping fee and also pay the return shipping cost for a truly risk-free purchase.
