The Squirrel Guard is an effective way to combat possible squirrel related bird feeder issues. The 15" dome only protects seed and birds from the elements; it also keeps squirrels from accessing the feeder from the top and will block their reach into the feeder. If big birds are monopolizing your birdfeeder, you need a secure and safe way to discourage them without also chasing off the little guys. The dome has the added of protecting small birds from the weather while they feed. Held securely in place wherever you put it by an adjustable collar and set screw combination, the dome can be tailored to accommodate your favorite feathered population.
