Ceramic ring magnets - test that iron ore. Is it non-magnetic hematite or is it magnetite?
These fairly strong ceramic ring magnets are useful for identifying magnetite, the only mineral that is strongly attracted to a magnet. There are too many other uses to list. The magnet shown is adhering to a piece of magnetite. These are 1.25 inches in diameter, 3/8 inch thick. ID = 3/16".
These are sold in sets of five.
