This is your opportunity to acquire a beautiful pyramid made of malachite. It is similar in shape to the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt. It shows unusually rich green banding. This pyramid has a square basis with a side of about 1.6" and it is about 1.5" high. It we
ighs about 1.7 oz. The edges of the basis are beveled, an indication of the high quality of workmanship that went into making this pyramid. The pyramid is in excellent condition.
Malachite is a rare, semi-translucent green volcanic crystal. The malachite colors do not fade over time. Agate-like banding in various shades of green are typical of malachite. Malachite sculptures are made from a natural stone, so imperfections, slight damages or scratches are very common.
