He is an exclusive Ronald McDonald House Charity Bear. It is only 1 of 4000 total to be manufactured.
Maple is just 1 of 4 highly coveted International Bears encompassed with the profound 1996-1998 world wide collection . Tush tag errors.
The box states that his birthday is July 1, 1996 but the tush tag reads "1993" and registered in Oak Brook, Illinois which is the TY headquarters.
However, the tag reads "OAKBROOK" all in caps (No space). On the back story OAKBROOK is with a small b and not with a cap B and without a space between,
unlike the spelling at the bottom of the cardboard. THE BOX IS IN Good CONDITION,

Don't miss out on this rare and handsome bear. Maple was born July 1, 1996. His poem reads: "Maple the bear likes to ski, With his friends, he plays hockey. He loves his pancakes and eats every crumb Can you guess what country he's from?"
Because Maple was not sold outside of Canada, he has been extremely hard to find. This white bear has black button eyes and a brown nose, and proudly wears a Canadian flag sewn on his chest. *Surface wash only*.

*Tush tag errors - the box states that his birthday is July 1st 1996 but his tag says “1993” and he was made in Oak Brook, Illinois, but his tag reads “OakBrook” (without the space). Maple was introduced January 1, 1997, but the box indicates that he was introduced February 27, 1997. *This is the only Maple bear retailed in the United States.
Maple was exclusively a Ronald McDonald House Charity bear. He belongs to 1 of 4 of the International Bears of 1996. He is 1 in 4,000 manufactured!! This amazing bear is valued much higher than I am asking. He has never been played with or taken out of his box. There are two small flaps on the back of the box I opened one strictly to take the photo of the tush tag. Even the plastic on the outside is still clear !! Very RARE condition
