Mud Dabber Nest - Fired and Gold Coated.
One day, in me garage( me because I'm a pirate), I notice an abandoned mud dabber nest. Well, just like everyone, I have a kiln in my garage that We use for my wife pottery business and I asked myself the obvious question.
"Will a mud dauber nest fire?"
So I stuck the nest in the kiln and fired it with the weekly pottery load to answer the question.  Turns out:
"Yes, mud dabber nest will fire!" COOL
So, I bought a collection of mud dabber nest on EBAY and started the process of firing glazing and gold coating of these wonderful pieces of natural art.
