Natural Cloud Mountain Chinese Turquoise Hi grade.
Spiderwebbed 15.5 carats. This is a beautiful example of how nice Chinese Turquoise can be from one of their best Mines. This rough was made into cabs nearly 20 years ago and was Natural stone . I purchased some cabs from a miner who I knew and trusted and he cabbed the stone. At the time China was putting out some excellent turquoise that was right up there in quality with some of the best American turquoise mines. It’s no longer the case and many of their mines have been depleted of the best material or flooded, as a result of the huge dams running across the countryside. This cabochon is backed and looks the same as when I got it back then . This is one of the prettiest stones you will find.
