Naturally Holey Beach Stone, Coquinoid Sandstone
Surf tumbled by the tides and time.
Wild caught by me along the shores of the Treasure Coast.
This stone is 1 1/4” x 1 1/4” x 3/16”-1/2” thick.
The size of the hole easily accommodates the 5/16” dowel.
That oval-shaped hole measures 5/8” x 3/8”.
It is grey with gray and ivory shell inclusions.
Nice x-large hole. Easy to look through.
It holds nicely in your hand...the edges of the stone are worn smooth and rounded.

has quite a bit of lore and many magical properties associated
with them.  Part of the folklore is that if you look through the holes
you can see fairies.
