One Naturally Holey Beach Stone, Coquinoid Sandstone, Tube-shaped
Surf-tumbled by the tides and time.
Collected by me along the shores of the Treasure Coast.
This tube shaped stone is just over 2 inches long,
Is 3/4 inch wide,
and 1 1/2 inches tall.
The hole is minimum 5/16" diameter and fully accommodates
the 5/16” dowel.
All sizes are approximate.
The hole is long and straight.
The stone is smooth and rounded.
Nature provided you with a handle to easily look through the
tube-shaped hole. That hole is large.... You should be able to see
all kinds troops of fairies or allow tons of good luck through this hole.
There is a hole on one side of the handle. The handle appears
to be hollowed out to some extent.
Nature is cool.
It is shades of grey with areas of light brown.
The stone in the photos are the ones you will receive.

Hag stones have occupied myth and magic folklore for

Hag stones are
stones that have a naturally occurring hole inside them.
These stones are often
found along the coastal points,
beaches, and streams. These holes occur from the elements
beating down upon them over many years.  There are also
speculations that these mysterious
stones may have been
formed by a “worm hole”. A Hag stone is also known as a Witch
Stone
or Adder Stone or Holey Stone and has quite a bit of lore
and many magical properties associated
with them.  Part of the
folklore is that if you look through the holes you can see fairies.
