12.77gm (Larger than a U.S. Quarter which is 24mm and only 5.7gm).
Obverse: AVTOK K M IOYΛ ΦIΛIΠΠOY CЄB, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right.
Reverse: ΔHMAPX ЄΞOYCIAC, eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; S–C across field, MON VRB (Moneta Vrbis=Coin of City [of Rome]) in exergue.
RARE Struck in Rome for Antioch! This explains the very fine style.

Early Christian writers maintain that Philip was the first Christian emperor (& Otacilia the 1st Christian Empress), an assertion which is indeed supported by some of his actions & made more likely as he came from an area where large numbers of Christians were found-born in small Arabian town called Shahba (El-Leja in southwest Syria), 45 miles southeast  of Damascus in Trachonitis.
