    Description

Front says: M.C.A. Form 64. Great Britain and Northern Ireland G (crown) R Ministry of Civil Aviation Certificate of Competency and Licence to Fly Private Flying Machines Issued in accordance ... (there's a long sentence about 1919 1920 1938 Aerial Navigation Act etc).
First page with text is Certif of Competency dated 1946 London for All types of landplanes.  Next page  is Licence "Not valid for flying public transport" 1946, and it gives name of Holder, who was British, from Belfast N. Ireland, born 1921, address is Madison Avenue, Belfast.  Next pages are Renewal of Licence Medical Examinations dates and Fit Results, and Periods of Validity and signature stamp and initials. And Last page is Expiration instructions, etc.  This is great ephemera collectible collectable for aviation / flying / airplane history / England, etc.  Note: I just noticed that it looks like I'm trying to cover up the big rust stains with my fingers in some of the pics; I didn't realize that's where my fingers landed when I was holding the license booklet open, but there are definitely big rust spots on the pages under my fingers.
