Description
Kilomux's low-speed multi-service multiplexers enable efficient integration of data, voice, fax, and LAN traffic over digital data services, over dedicated lines, IP, ISDN, and other infrastructure. Access is organized over a wide range of standard network interfaces and at various speeds-from 9.6 Kbit / s to 1536 Kbit / s. Low service traffic, minimal end-to-end latency, and bandwidth allocation, together with speech compression, ensure high-quality services while maximizing the use of available bandwidth. Connection to dedicated lines, IP, ISDN, radio channels, satellite channels, and DDS Data transfer rate from 9.6 to 1536 Kbit / s High-quality voice/ fax transmission at 4.8-14.4 Kbit / s Two types of chassisA variety of interfaces are available on the main channels to ensure compatibility with digital data services worldwide. These include: V. 35, V. 36/V. 11, RS-530, V. 24/RS-232, X. 21, and the G. 703 co-directional interface; there are also built-in CSU and DSU devices, Fractional E1/T1, as well as fiber, TDMoIP, and an ISDN subscriber adapter. The ability to programmatically select the synchronization method from the main or any other channel is standard for all interfaces, as is the support for control signals. The use of standard eight-bit buffers on transmission and reception lines, as well as a special-order 256-bit buffer for satellite communications, allows you to use any type of access environment (for example, dedicated lines, radio channels, microwave and satellite channels). Kilomux -2100 supports a second communication line, which can be configured in the following different ways:
As a backup communication line in relation to the first one. The backup link can be connected to a dial-up modem, a dial-up digital line, or an ISDN BRI line.
As a second active communication line with the ability to distribute the load, providing double the performance. This mode also supports the priority allocation function, which allows the most important channels to continue functioning in the event of a problem in any of the communication lines.
As a separate active communication line, for connecting to two independent Kilomux multiplexers at different points. With this configuration, the KDI module provides the ability to branch and insert channels and connect between both communication lines.
