Description

Emperor facing right, [DN LEO PERP]ET AVG, / Emperor standing, holding a long cross and placing his left hand on captive, [SMA?] in exergue. 8mm, 0.8 of Heraclea, RIC 698. Nicer than the scan. Even though the mintmark is not visible, the coins with this obverse inscription were issued only in Heraclea. The type is known from a single example, unpublished in most catalogues.
