    Description

    This is a nice specimen of Scoria that I found on a Lake Michigan beach a couple years back. It probably originated from Canada and ended up here via glacier transportation. Rounded from tumbling around in Lake Michigan.
    Very light and it floats on water, great teaching sample.
    Found on the beach in Port Washington, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin.
    17 grams.
    1-3/4" length.
