The Starlink Ethernet Adapter is designed to connect a device directly to the Starlink router for a wired Internet connection. Supports up to 1 Gbps speeds. NOTE: This product is for indoor use only.
The real benefit of this adapter is to use your own router with the latest and greatest tech and wireless range. Another huge plus is your cable run after the adapter can be ethernet cable rather than the much larger diameter proprietary Tesla cable that comes with the Dishy.

We use Starlink at our home and know the ins-and-outs of it. When you order your Starlink, you will only receive a simple stand that usually isn't enough to know if Starlink has the necessary clear northern view of the sky. The mobile app, well, let's just say it's better than nothing. The big gotcha is trees and other houses and it's all about the angle from the Dishy to the sky -- the further from the trees, the easier it is to clear them. If the trees are tall and close to the Dishy than the answer is to elevate the Dishy or find another installation location further from the trees.
Our aim is to help you get what you need ASAP so you can verify Starlink will work and if not return it. If you're ready to move from a temporary to permanent setup, we may have the accessories you need for that too.
The Ethernet Adapter and Mounts are regularly out of stock and even when they're in stock, they take time to receive, figure out, do the cable runs, and finally mount. Because it's not possible to order mounts or accessories in advance of the Dishy, they can arrive weeks or months later -- well after Starlink's return window has expired. And who wants to be paying 0 per month for service that isn't working well or not at all?
The solution is to prepare your installation site in advance with:
1) Ethernet Adapter - if you have a V2 rectangular Dishy and want to use your own router
2) Mount - we usually have Short Wall Mounts and Long Wall Mounts in stock
3) Extra cable - nice for travel or if you need a longer one to reach the Starlink router
Installation Tips
When you do the cable run, do it backwards. By backwards, we mean from the Dishy end to the Ethernet Adapter (or the Router). This is best because the Dishy end of the cable has a smaller diameter connector so you can drill smaller holes and fish through the walls easier.
If you're using the Ethernet Adapter, than the Starlink router will be in pass-thru mode and not used as an access point, therefore, it's location doesn't matter and might as well be near the Dishy so standard ethernet cable can be used for the longer run to your own wireless router.
