1/16 RC tank series full operation set that continues to be enhanced. Introducing the German heavy tank King Tiger as the fourth installment. The sound is synchronized with all movements such as turret turning, vertical movement of the long barrel 88mm gun and shooting sound, as well as powerful running such as forward and backward movement and left and right turning. The light emitted by the main gun and the machine gun in front of the vehicle is also linked. Of particular note is the engine sound. With the cooperation of the Saumur Tank Museum in France, the heartbeat of the Maybach HL230-P30 engine mounted on the only movable King Tiger in the world is digitally recorded. The engine sound changes realistically according to the running from starting to idling to full throttle.
[About the German heavy tank King Tiger (Henschel turret)]
The German heavy tank that appeared in 1944 in the latter half of World War II is the King Tiger. The Maybach HL230-P30 engine with an output of 700 horsepower is mounted on a thick armored body with a front surface of 150 mm and a side surface of 80 mm. Whereas the first 50 prototypes had Porsche-designed turrets, the mass-produced version was equipped with an improved Henschel-designed turret, a powerful 71 caliber 88 mm that could penetrate a 150 mm thick armor plate 2,000 m away. It was equipped with a gun. Approximately 440 cars were produced from early summer 1944 to March 1945, and the German army was intensively put into the Battle of the Bulge in December 1944 aiming for a reversal of the situation. It was the biggest threat to us.

[Easy reproduction of Zimmerit coating] In the latter half of World War II, Zimmerit coating was applied to the body surface of German tanks to prevent attacks by magnetically attracted depth charges. An adhesive sheet with a three-dimensional coating pattern printed on the kit is available. You can easily reproduce the Zimmerit coating, which was a difficult task in making German tanks in the latter half of the war.
[You can enjoy two types of engine starting sounds. ] In addition to starting with a normal starter motor, the King Tiger tank started the engine by manually turning the crank to protect the battery in cold regions. The model faithfully reproduces that part as well. If you switch on the transmitter first, the starting sound from the crank will be heard, and if you switch on the receiver first, the starting sound from the starter motor will be heard. Moreover, when the temperature drops, whichever switch is turned on first, the crank makes a starting sound, further enhancing the sense of presence. * Right image: Control unit housed in the car body.
