◆Further evolved DMD unit
The DMD T-07 unit has undergone a major evolution, with sound and light synchronized to all actions. The engine sound, in particular, is recorded from MTU's MB873-Ka501 turbocharged diesel engine, which is installed in the actual vehicle. The sound of the turret turning and barrel elevation as well as the firing sound of the 55 caliber 120mm smoothbore cannon, the most distinctive feature of the Leopard 2 A6, were reproduced by digitally sampling the actual vehicle's sound source. The large turret section is equipped with a DMD T-07 unit and a 7.2V battery for running, and the top of the turret can be removed with a single touch, making battery replacement very easy.
