This set doesn't include a battery and a charger because we can not have the battery out from Japan. Please purchase a battery and a charger that can be used in your country.
All you need is 8-AA batteries for the controller and your choice of a battery pack and charger (sold separately).  Please make sure to purchase a battery of Ni-Cd BATTERY 7.2V for R/C, Ni-HM BATTERY 7.2V for R/C or LF BATTERY 6.6V for R/C.

This is a factory finished RC model. It is hand-built and finished by Tamiya's craftsman.
It includes a Tamiya 4-channe
l radio.

The front-mounted gearbox contains two Type 380 motors that can operate together or individually to produce forward/reverse running and pivot turning. Metal torsion bars and suspension arms combine with the wide tracks to smoothly absorb bumps and dips in the terrain and provide high maneuverability. In addition, realistic engine sounds accompany the tank as it starts up, drives, and stops to idle. Hull-mounted main gun can be elevated, depressed, and swung to the left and right.
