This crimper has the insulated wide mouth head.
This was one of my personal crimpers.  I purchased it in good used working order and it always functioned without fail.  I pressure tested the crimper and it compresses at a full 12.5 tons. See the last picture

I had purchased two new batteries in 2014 and they were hardly used after that.  I've cycled the batteries and they both perform a typical number of crimps.  They may last for years, but I have however discounted the price to assist in purchasing new batteries when the time comes.
It is not uncommon for the shims between the head and body to loosen on these crimpers.  The result is that the head spins out of the desired position. The easy fix is to put a wrap of electrical tape around the head/body connection point like you see in the picture.  This will give enough friction to hold the head in the desired location and yet allow you to spin it. Otherwise, you can send it to the manufacture and they can re-shim it back to original specs.
Otherwise, this is a good crimper and will serve you well.
