Unitrol 480K 55/100-Watts PA w/Amp & Lights Controller Box (Dunbar-Nunn Corp.)

Description

This is a Unitrol/Federal Signal Corporation/Dunbarr-Nunn Corp. Model # 480K with Remote Switch Box Controller and Amplifier. It is two separate units, and no cables are included for remote control operation.  This particular pair of units were plugged together to make one unit, joined by two metal side brackets so the whole assembly could be mounted in a console. The console front-mounting plate is still attached to the controller section.
It came from a local Government Surplus Auction, but I wanted just the 2-Way Radio equipment that was part of this bulk equipment purchase, and I don't have a need for this Unitrol equipment. This 480K includes the 55/100-Watt Amplifier and the companion Hand Microphone for PA Operation. Copies of the Amplifier's Installation & Operation, and Technical Manuals are also included, as shown in the last picture.
This 480K System had been installed in a radio/electronics console. The previous users changed vehicles and needed a different console, so they went to a completely different brand of controller and amplifier to use in them. So this "retired" Unitrol 480K System is not tested, and is sold "As-Is", under eBay's condition grading of "For parts or not working" and no returns are accepted. I've sold many of these same units here on eBay, and the previous buyers have all been very happy with their purchase. I have a few additional Unitrol 480K-series units like this one that I'll be listing in future auctions. I also have some controllers/switch boxes without the amplifiers, if anyone needs them. Amplifiers are often available separately here on eBay.
The pictures shown in this listing are of the actual unit the buyer will receive. I have another 480K system like this one in a separate listing, except that the two units are not plugged together as they are in this listing.

Shipping will be to CONUS locations, with careful packing, and the shipping charges will be .85, based on other Unitrol 480Ks that I've recently shipped. Any International sales must use eBay's Global Shipping Program service, where I ship the units to their forwarding center in Kentucky, and eBay takes care of the necessary customs, etc. paperwork, and then they ship onward to the winning bidder. No Direct Overseas Sales!
Because of the shipping arrangements that are done out-of-state, I am not able to combine shipment of multiple items. I ship to the buyer within five days of the end of the sale and receipt of payment. By the time the item is put up for sale, it has already been packaged for shipping.
Please understand that once I've dropped off an item to be shipped, I have no further control of when it will actually arrive at your location. Occasionally, the shipping company routes the package through some far, out-of-the-way locations which can greatly delay the shipping time, compared to what eBay quotes for delivery times.
